The most important wine town of Austria values wine not only economically, but also socially. Almost half of the 4,223 hectare of the town area is planted with vines, and 400 wine growing companies with full-time and part-time wine makers press excellent wines.’

Villa Vinifera Wine-cellar
The Villa Vinifera is a wine cellar build in 1936, one of the BACCHUS SME associate partners in the project, is situated in the picturesque village of Brestovica, Plovdiv District, Bulgaria is well known and famous for the wine production that is in “the heart of Thracian Lowland” (South Bulgarian) wine region. Their own vineyards are located around the village in the Lowland.
This is a Classical type of wine cellar but one of a kind winery, because of the fact that still operates in traditional style using oak barrels.
This magical world of Villa Vinfera is a place where classical technology meets the high quality standarts of today and it’s wines and spirits are enjoyed by millions of people around the world. From authentic Bulgarian varieties like infamous Mavrud and Misket to well-known ones such as Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Traminer and Muskat. Villa Vinifera has it all. They are using individual approach, regarding not only the option for a customer lable and bottle, but also for the whole wine concept. From wines with roses, ice wines and many more – if the customer can imagine it – they can make it a reality.
Every year Villa Vinifera as a producer of high-quality wine is visited by more than a 150 tourists, who can participate in wine testing, touristic tour of the wine production process, as well as visiting Wine Celebration days in the Region of Plovdiv. In 2019 the city of Plovdiv will be European Cultural Capital that makes the region very attractive to tourists, not only as cultural destination but as place for different fairs, events and art and crafts, etc., highly appreciated by tourists.

CTP is the leading body of tourism business associations, having acquired legal personality in 1995, encompassing all the business associations of tourism. CTP is nationwide and covers the federations, unions and associations of the tourism sector. Companies aware of the diversity and variety of its activities not grouped in any association of the sector may also join CTP.
CTP has been a company partner in the Standing Committee for Social Dialogue since May 2003.

Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal / IPS (Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal) is a public institution of higher education, which employs approximately 650 personnel and has app. 6 500 students. IPS is situated in the Greater Lisbon Metropolitan Area, region of Setúbal. The region is home to strong enterprises in such fields as, for example, paper and motor car industries, and holds a highly important geostrategic position, since it is a gateway to Europe. Furthermore, Setúbal region, with its varied landscape composed of sea and mountains, including a large protected area with an application in progress to UNESCO Human Heritage, is a tourist destination for both Portuguese and foreigners. IPS was created in 1979 and started activity in 1981. At present the IPS comprises five Higher Education Schools. It also integrates a Students’ Welfare Unit and a number of functional units and central services.
Setúbal College of Education (ESE), at the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal has been integrated into the Portuguese higher education system since 1985. The first courses offered in 1987 were in the initial and continuing training of teachers (courses for early childhood teachers and teachers of the 1 st cycle of basic education). Over the years ESE has diversified by offering training in other areas predominantly oriented towards the 2 nd cycle of basic education. ESE also introduced bachelor and / licentiate degrees in other professional/ scientific areas and developed higher education courses in specialised education studies and Master's courses in partnership with other institutions.
ESE operates on the campus of IPS in the city of Setúbal (45 km south of Lisbon) in a building inaugurated in 1993, which was designed by the architect Siza Vieira. In that year it was awarded the Portuguese National Prize for Architecture.
Rota de Vinhos da Península de Setúbal (Setúbal Peninsula
The Setúbal Peninsula Wine Route centrally aims to promote Enotourism and the appreciation of the wine production in the region. In geographical terms, this route combines the municipalities of Palmela, Setúbal, Montijo, Alcácer do Sal and Grândola.
Its headquarters, the Casa Mãe da Rota de Vinhos (Mother House of the Wine Route), is located on Largo de S. João, in Palmela, where visitors can purchase wine, make reservations for tours, and participate in a series of activities and events that take place throughout the year. The Casa Mãe also sells regional cakes, honey, jams and jellies and the famous Queijo de Azeitão -Azeitão Cheese.
